سورة المدثر من الآية 1-20

يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُ (1) قُمْ فَأَنْذِرْ (2) وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ (3) وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ (4) وَالرُّجْزَ فَاهْجُرْ (5) وَلَا تَمْنُنْ تَسْتَكْثِرُ (6) وَلِرَبِّكَ فَاصْبِرْ (7) فَإِذَا نُقِرَ فِي النَّاقُور (8) فَذَلِكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوْمٌ عَسِيرٌ (9) عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ غَيْرُ يَسِيرِ (10) ذَرْنِي وَمَنْ خَلَقْتُ وَحِيدًا (11) وَجَعَلْتُ لَهُ مَالًا مَمْدُودًا (12) وَبَنِينَ شُهُودًا (13) وَمَهَّدْتُ لَهُ تَمْهِيدًا (14) ثُمَّ يَطْمَعُ أَنْ أَزِيدَ (15) كَلَّا إِنَّهُ كَانَ لِآيَاتِنَا عَنِيدًا (16) سَأُرْهِقُهُ صَعُودًا (17) إِنَّهُ فَكَرَ وَقَدَّرَ (18) فَقُتِلَ كَيْفَ قَدَّرَ (19) ثُمَّ قُتِلَ كَيْفَ قَدَّرَ (20).

مكية، وهي ست وخمسون آية.
سبب التسمية سميت بهذا الاسم لأن المرتكز الأساسي دار حول الرسول فناداه الله بحالته وهي
التدثر بالثوب فوصف بحالته.
سبب نزول السورة
عن جابر قال: حدثنا رسول الله فقال جاورت بحراء شهرا فلما قضيت جواري نزلت فاستبطنت بطن الوادي فنوديت فنظرت أمامي وخلفي وعن يميني وعن شمالي فلم أر أحدا ثم نوديت فرفعت رأسي فإذا هو على العرض في العراء يعنى جبريل عليه السلام فقلت دتروني دثروني
فصبّوا على ماء باردا فأنزل الله عز وجل " يا أيها المدثر قم فأنذر وربك فكبر وثيابك فطهر" ( البخاري).
محور مواضيع السورة تتحدث السورة عن بعض جوانب من شخصية الرسول الأعظم ولهذا سميت سورة المدثر.

Al-Muddathir
1. O you (Muhammad) enveloped
(in garments)!
2. Arise and warn!
3. And your Lord (God) magnify!
4. And your garments purify!
5. And keep away from Ar-Rujz (the idols)!
6. And give not a thing in order to have more (or consider not your deeds of God's obedience as a favour to God).
7. And be patient for the sake of your Lord (i.e. perform your duty to God)!
8. Then, when the Trumpet is sounded (i.e. its second blowing); 9. Truly, that Day will be a Hard Day.
10. Far from easy for the disbelievers.
11. Leave Me Alone (to deal) with whom I created Alone (without any means, i.e. Al-Walîd bin Al- Mughirah Al-Makhzûmî)!
12. And then granted him resources in abundance.
13. And children to be by his side!
14. And made life smooth and comfortable for him!
15. After all that he desires that I should give more.
16. Nay! Verily, he has been stubborn and opposing Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.).
17. I shall oblige him to (climb a slippery mountain in the Hell-fire called As-Sa'ûd, or to) face a severe torment!
18. Verily, he thought and plotted; 19. So let him be cursed! How he plotted!
20. And once more let him be cursed, how he plotted!
