Political commentator Ben Shapiro says he's enjoyed seeing the reactions to his chart-topping rap song made in collaboration with Tom MacDonald.

“Life is a journey … and I’ve decided to take that journey one step at a time, just never know what life is going to throw your way,” he told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.

“We’re taking over the industry from the inside – Tom MacDonald is the real talent behind all that obviously.

“The entire joke of me being part of the rap is I think the funniest thing in the world.

“I’m really enjoying a lot of the reaction videos which people are hysterically laughing at the fact that I even attempted such a thing.”
