One of my favorite songs on the planet. I first heard it on @ShawnColvinVideos Shawn Colvin’s Cover Girl album when I was about 17 years old, and it blew me away. (That was one of the main albums that first compelled me to pick up the guitar.) About 11 years ago, I heard @ChrisSmither cover it and, again, fell in love. I was thrilled when he told me (with his own lips!) that he learned it from Shawn Colvin.
