Merry Christmas, everyone! We’re only a week away from Christmas, and I’m totally jazzed to share with everyone this beautiful song. I asked @jackledgerdowse, the composer, to write a new piece that depicts the heartfelt feeling of sitting by a warm fire with the one you dearly love,” and I think he has captured that perfectly. As Jack opines in his programs notes, “’Christmas with You’ is a tender and romantic piece for solo and piano that captures the quiet intimacy of lovers sitting by the fire on Christmas night. Blending yearning, jazzy tones with a wistful atmosphere, the piece evokes the magic of shared moments, the soft crackle of the hearth, and the timeless beauty of being together.
