This week we're looking at how to use basic chord tones of the root note and the fifth in creating a bass line that works beyond the simple root note. We're going to create bass lines that lock in with the drumbeat and then outline the chord progression. These bass lines can create a lot of diversity and are great for travelling around the fretboard.
