11 Lessons Learned from 11 Years

Today will be our last Growing in Grace Tuesday Bible Study as World Changers Church DC. We are going to discuss 11 Lessons Learned since the inception of WCCDC in August of 2010. As the doors of this fellowship church close, we want to open the opportunity for you to continue to be apart of what will be Growing in Grace Ministries. We are taking a break to plan, prepare, and consult with our man and woman of God on the direction God has placed in Pastor Jessica's heart. More information will be forthcoming. In the meantime, join us this evening at 6:30p for Bible Study. We will be hosting a virtual chat next Tuesday for members to share their thoughts and feelings on the closing of our doors, just so everything is out in the air and off your heart. We will also be hosting a holiday gathering next Saturday, and would love your attendance. We are all saddened by the sudden news, but we rejoice in what lies ahead.

Lessons Learned in 11 years

1. Understanding the value of divine order and following it. Be ok with being wrong even if you are right. Being right is not important being in God’s divine order is.

2. Appreciating the wisdom in following the leader.

3. Never sow as seed you are not willing to reap.

4. Acknowledge and appreciate the call God has on your life it only makes you stronger.

5. Authenticity is the key to true freedom. Don’t become who people want you to be, be who God has called you. And furthermore done let people tell you who you are.

6. Jealousy, envy and strife, always know what side of them you are standing on.

7. When you are truly bothered by something, ask yourself am I in the center

8. Seeing from heavens perspective….How people treat you is not your business but how you treat them is.

9. Navigating your insecurities is impossible without God

10. There are some things you just don’t need to know or understand…Trusting God has to be a way of everyday life.

11. Always obey God (obey His voice) and stay little in your own eyes
