Cello Practice videos are mostly geared toward my current students. Even so, the topics are universally applicable just as in this video: LEFT HAND Pizzicato.
Plucking (Pizzicato) with the Left Hand is usually left to the advanced players, but not here. In the many lessons I have taught, most students gain more dexterity and improve intonation by doing these short exercises.
1. Strum the strings
2. Pizz. with each finger individually.
It is more about waking up the fingers and making them more adept and flexible, which then gives an advantage with playing actual music.
