2 EASY WAYS TO PLAY 5 STROKE ROLL DRUM FILLS

Learn 2 easy ways to play 5-stroke roll drum fills. It's a simple pattern to understand and I think you'll quickly be able to play the patterns on the drums.

Start off on the snare drum but after you are comfortable, start moving your hands around the drum set. Play on the toms, cymbals and hi-hat. Mix it up so that you can really use these patterns in your playing.

Also try practicing with the metronome at 60BPM and assign the clicks to counts 2 and 4. This will help strengthen your internal time. Have fun working on your 5-Stroke Roll drum fills!
