Here's the next episode of Three-For-All with 3 Brad Gillis & Jeff Watson Licks From 1983. I featured Night Ranger in a Chordplay episode last year where we looked at some of their chords/rhythm work, and since that time I've had numerous requests to feature some licks/ideas by this powerhouse dynamic guitar duo from the 1980s - so here we go!

The ideas in this lesson came from a live Night Ranger performance from Japan in 1983 and features Gillis & Watson at the top of their game. There are plenty of slick ideas to be found in this lesson, including an interesting/melodic volume swell motif, a tapped bending phrase, a wicked bar-dipped legato idea, a shred-approved scale sequence run - not to mention a bonus trick by Brad Gillis and taking a "ride" in his whammy bar Ferrari, and much more!

Needless to say, there are plenty of cool licks, tricks, and ideas hiding in this lesson, which documents just how powerful and unique these guys were playing together back in the glorious and headbanging '80s.
