These are the 32 most common guitar strumming patterns. Some of these strum patterns are quite easy, while others are more difficult and require some practice. In addition, in this video you will learn how to read guitar strum patterns (all those up and down arrows).
If you're new to playing guitar, a guitar strumming pattern is how your right hand moves while playing. If the arrow in the picture points down, you run your hand over the strings from top to bottom (from the thickest string to the thinnest). If the arrow points up, you run your hand from bottom to top. You can play either with guitar pick or without guitar pick (in this video I play without it, just with my fingers).
