Jive of Herts - Jive Tutorials and Lesson based in Hertfordshire
I teach 140 jive moves but, what I recommend to my students is; make sure that you know the basics and then out of the 140 jive moves, make sure that you learn you favourite moves (10 – 12 moves) and put them in your ‘tool box’ of dance moves so that when you dance, you can ensure that you have the basics right and then enjoy your favourite moves.

Essential jive moves for all dancers whether beginners or more advanced - I have them within my own ‘tool box’ of cool jive moves.

Most people when they jive will use about 3 or 4 jive moves and keep repeating them. I try to encourage people to be comfortable with 10 or 12 moves that they really love and go from there!
If you need to find more moves either look through the Jive-of-Herts YouTube playlists to find new favourite moves or start coming to the classes and discovering new moves.
