http://www.vladtv.com - 40 Cal and Young A$e expressed their views on the growing presence of White rappers in Hip Hop, during this clip from their exclusive interview with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes.
40 began by addressing Lord Jamar's views that "White rappers are guests in the 'House of Hip Hop.'" 40 believes that since Jamar is from a much older era of the Hip Hop culture, "it's like trying to change a White man's aspect of how he thinks about Black people and he grew up in the 1940's or 1950's."
40 thinks that in this day and age, in order to unlock the keys to success and earn as much money in the music business as possible, there is no room for racism to exist in Hip Hop. However, Young A$e did point out that he believes that White fans who only support White rappers because they are White, and not because of their lyrical talents, are not real fans of Hip Hop.
40 Cal and Young A$e concluded by sharing updates on their upcoming projects, and 40 offered a final invitation to battle leagues to feature him on a future event.
