These 5 vocal techniques will help you handle your L consonant and sing better. Try this exercise with me. Focus on your mouth and tongue positions, your larynx, breath placement and breath support. When you sing an L at the front of a word, don’t fill your mouth up with the middle of your tongue- instead keep your airway open, by releasing your jaw and using the top of your tongue on your hard ridge (roof of mouth behind your teeth).
