We're led to conclusions
Unresolved solutions
The scenario play out in my head
The inchoate fears that we all dread
Things aren't as they seem
Abnegation of reality
The trust deteriotes when your love
Turns to hate
Dissected with words
You start to turn inwards
The cold and empty space
That utterly obliterates
The remnants of a life you used to live...

Foolish thoughts
The utopia of a distracted mind
We minimize risk
By never fully committing
Its all smoke and mirrors
Twelve hours of stress on your "special" day
Loyalty dies alone
As we build our prison stone by stone

When you experience the death of the dream
You realize the redundancy of your ideology
Force fed lies and conditioned since birth
To follow a path condoned
And not worry about where it goes...
I don't want to be like you
I just want to live the life that I choose
The death of compromise
Is the kiss of death in your eyes
I feel the weight of the loss
And a crushing blow to my self-conscious
I'm only human after all

The true self is revealed
Kept out of sight
Carefully concealed
An overlord
An exquisite narcissist
Motivated by greed
You murder the family
Let the grand larceny begin
You'll never stop
Until you drain the last drop
Hollow inside
The rage is all that remains
I feel sorry for you
It's kinda sad when you know the truth
Just let it go
I could never want you again
