In this Jazz Drummer Q-Tip of the Week lesson, I demonstrate how to play paradiddles, double paradiddles and paradiddle-diddles displacing the accents. I demonstrate 6 different diddle exercises that will rock your world. Practicing them will help you improve how freely you are able to incorporate diddles into your soloing. These exercises will open up new ideas that will help you unlock more modern approaches to playing around the drums using paradiddles, double paradiddles and paradiddle-diddles.
