I'm sure you have heard of the term "12-bar blues", which is the most famous blues structure. But did you know that there are many other kinds of blues structures? Among them, most notably, is the "8-bar blues".

In this video, I'll break down the differences between these two blues forms, using a classic 8-bar blues tune and a spontaneous 12-bar blues that I made up on the spot to demonstrate.
