Whenever a music genre has a focus on “extremity” “wackiness” or “being heavy” in any aspect, the conversation around it’s art always devolves into annoying clickbait. Typically I talk about metal-adjacent artwork, but despite electronic dance music being completely different musically, it ends up serving the same fate in a lot of ways artistically.
