A soldier during World War I helps a fellow wounded comrade in the last days of the war before returning to New York City, where his life crumbles... But he never loses Faith in Jesus and the power of the word of God. Moving West, he becomes a famous actor in Hollywood, but he never forget a promise made to that fellow comrade who lost his life: he bring a crucifix that they found in the battle field to the soldier's wife.
