Since its inception in 2008, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has grown tremendously, with 26 blockbuster feature films and counting, not to mention the growing offshoot of MCU TV shows, including the acclaimed Disney+ hits "WandaVision" and "Loki." As an actor, getting the call to participate in the MCU can be a life-changing event, with huge career implications. Actors like Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans received a huge career boost when they undertook their roles as Iron Man and Captain America, respectively.
