Adlers Appetite Guns 2 Roses Live at The Pitz. My one and only exposure to this band at this venue and a tour raddled by controversy but an enjoyable evening nonetheless.
The MK Woughton Centre was unusual, possibly unique, in so far as it had two guises as regards live rock music. As shown elsewhere on this collection, Sunday afternoons had covers band almost exclusively or at least they were required to play covers. The rest of the week but mostly the evenings the very same stage was the domain of the very wonder full "Pitz Club". This video shows how things could get confused at times for we sometimes were treated to "tributes" which are in my mind just covers bands who like to dress up like the heroes.
However, sometimes you would get a curious hybrid appear such as "Adler's Appetite" whereby just one of the original band would join up with some other herberts who knew the songs very well and provided fans up and down the country with just about the only way they would get their fave GnR tracks live on a smaller stage... so sit back, squint a bit and imagine GnR rocking the boards in a tiny venue which is probably the way they went down best as pure RnR bands can.
