Adriano Mondini graduated in Oboe, English Horn and Percussions at Conservatory "G.Verdi" of Milan (Italy).
He practises in many musical actvities: Solist, Composer, Arranger and Teacher. Atypical strumentist in the musical panorama in Italy. He alternates Classical Concerts with Jazz Performances impressioning by using the Oboe and the English Horn in the environment of Jazz and more specificially in Sperimental Music in spacious sense of the world.
He has played with many great Conductors of Classic Music: Peter Maag, Karl Richter, Nello Santi, Luciano Brerio, Uto Ughi, Salvatore Accardo, Yury Arhonovic, Heinz Hollingher, Luciano Pavarotti, and many great Musicians of Jazz Music: Anthony Braxton, Dave Holland, Sam Rivers, Giorgio Gaslini, Friedrich Gulda, Max Roach.
He also played with a lot of Symphonic Orchestras in Italy and Switzerland.
He was Musical Collaborator of the Welsh National Opera in the 1989.
He played in 1980 at the Contemporaney Jazz Festival in Pisa (Italy), in 1981 at the Moers Jazz Festival (Germany), and in 1990 at the Lugano Estival Jazz (Switzerland).
Notable work for arranger of many singers of Commercial Music: Oxa, Angelo Branduardi, Rossana Casale, Toquino.
From 1982 Adriano Mondini has been teaching Oboe and English Horn at the Conservatory of Music in Como (Italy).
