Flower of Light is a Pop Folk song with Celtic and Symphonic elements. Some of you already know me as the front woman of @Lyria and now I have this solo project too. I normally write about personal experiences and I try to bring positive messages to people, showing that is possible to find the light at the end of the tunnel (you can be this light!).

I wrote Flower of Light in memory of my grandmother. She always supported me in my musical career and she even went to a @Nightwish concert with me when I was a teenager, because she liked the band! She always liked to listen to music and she went to some of my band @Lyria concerts, besides my recitals. My grandma was a very special person; she always used to see the bright side of life. She will always be my "White Lily". As you may know, I really like lily flowers, that is one of the reasons my band is called Lyria, so it was fascinating to discover her name (Suely) means "light" and "white lily", and she always loved flowers!

On the day she left us, I started to write this song. It helped me to deal with the sorrow. The whole process (instrumental, melody, lyrics, recording, mixing, mastering, video recording and edition) took me 9 days. For the video, I had the help of my husband, Patrick, who recorded the scenes and I edited the video.

Some days after my grandma left us, I dreamed of her saying she would be ok and she would always be with us. I told her I was writing her a song and she said she would listen to it! So, I hope she can listen to Flower of Light, wherever she is and I hope this song brings comfort to everyone that lost a beloved one. So, enjoy the official music video of Flower of Light! Don't forget to tell your impressions on the comments.

•My first solo album is a little delayed but it is coming soon! Since I was waiting for the covers' licensing I decided to put some more originals on the album and this song will be there!

•Lyrics:
Flower of light
The purest one
Shining brightly
Among the thorns

But one day
The wind came
And took the flower
So far away

Flying, flying, flying, flying away
Through the path of light
We will meet again someday
Flying, flying, flying, flying away
Through the path of light
We will meet again someday

Pure White Lily
My guide star
With wisdom and love
Faced so many storms

Free to fly
Across the sky
Far on the horizon
I'll see your smile

Flying, flying, flying, flying away
Through the path of light
We will meet again someday
Flying, flying, flying, flying away
Through the path of light
We will meet again someday

Flying, flying, flying, flying away
Through the path of light
We will meet again someday
Flying, flying, flying, flying away
Through the path of light
We will meet again someday

Flying, flying, flying, flying away
Through the path of light
We will meet again someday
Flying, flying, flying, flying away
Through the path of light
We will meet again someday
