American Idol season 5 alumni and Grammy Award winning Christian artist Mandisa has tragically passed away at the young age of 47 years old. Despite not winning American Idol, Mandisa went on to have a very successful career in Gospel music and Contemporary Christian music. Landing multiple number one songs as well as number one albums. Our hearts and prayers are going out to Mandisa's family and friends during this difficult time.
