A lesson on a beginner approach to Doc Watson style rhythm playing. In part 1 of this lesson, we’ll focus on single notes in the context of rhythm guitar and take a look at beginner alternating bass concepts without strumming. We’ll also learn a few runs that can be used as transitions between chords, focusing on the most common chord progression in bluegrass music: the I-IV-V chord progression.
