Alex Scott was born and raised in Northern Ireland, at a time when the Troubles erupted, and bordered on a civil war that lasted nearly 30 years. Since he was a teenager, he has always had a passion for music, which has grown stronger as he got older.
At school, he realised that he had a gift for music, and although not formally trained, he can play a variety of instruments. He is an accomplished guitar player. Scott realised early on, that as well as his ability to many instruments, he could also write songs.
This element of his musical ability overtook his desire to play an instrument, and in the ensuing years, has written hundreds of songs in many different styles.
