Love You Back is a Rockabilly Blues song about being so passionate about something or someone, but being embarrassed to show it in a world where you’re sure you’ll never get it back.

“It’s a tribute to all the artists that struggled for us in the time before there were any copyright laws or artist foundations to protect musicians. These artists would try and find work by asking to perform for restaurants, and not get paid enough if there weren’t enough customers for the night. Some of them were really, really good, and if a record executive was around, they would steal the songs they heard them perform live and give it to the artists in their label.”, the multidisciplinary artist says about her song.

She hopes to send a message to other struggling musicians that the music industry is not a mirror of your worth as an artist. There’s no need to be desperate and take less than what you deserve, because there is a right time and environment for your music to be heard.

“I never got those kinds of opportunities from the music industry or indie music community”, she continues, “so I’m giving those opportunities to myself in conditions where I have control over my art and can shine my brightest”.

Watch out for the tasty treats of a time warp towards the end of the bridge, and a sonic treatment that makes the song feel like road rage, echoing the 1950s car culture.
