In this guitar lesson video for I Am the Highway, I will show you how to play this smash hit by Audioslave note-for-note.

The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.

I will first demonstrate both the chords that Chris Cornell is playing in addition to the melodic lines that Tom Morello adds during the chorus sections.

For most of the second half of the video lesson, I will be breaking down Tom Morello's solo note-for-note. This solo is played with a delay/echo effect with the settings around 300ms with 3 or 4 repeats. The delay mix is about 50% or so. At least those are the settings I am using in the video to get a decent representation of the effect. Perhaps you can start with those settings then adjust it to your liking.

While showing you how to play the solo you will hear it both with the delay and without to make it easier to learn.
