➡️ An episode featuring Muse's Chris Wolstenholme is a bit overdue here on the channel, but it's better late than never. I was really into Muse for a few years growing up, but much of their discography has eluded me ever since, including 2001's "Origin Of Symmetry". I've had requests for a live version of "Bliss", and enjoyed seeing Chris take a few liberties that are normally absent on their records. I discuss his unique bass lines that tend to have a "synth-like" quality to them, why his plucking technique and bass tone work so well together, the music theory behind the smooth key changes and modulations throughout the song, my theory on how some of his bass parts are composed, and much more!
