Here's an interesting orchestration "trick" that you can use sometimes to spice up your arrangements:

The horn is part of the brass family but for technical reasons it sounds sweeter than the rest of the brass section, it blends perfectly with the woodwinds and you can use it to make the woodwind section sound richer...

On the other hand the bassoon blends so well with the horn that you can use it to create a third horn line and it's almost gonna sound like a third horn, try it for yourself!
