One of my favorite things to do before becoming a voice teacher was watching compilations on youtube of different singers performing the same song and seeing how each performer brought their own spin to the material! I always enjoyed seeing what each actor did differently and how they made the material their own. Now as a voice teacher I get to see different singers sing the same songs and all bring something unique to the material! It’s just amazing!

One thing about me is that I will never be annoyed about hearing the same song over and over. If anything I get really excited to see different spins on the same material! And if the student is passionate about the material then that’s all I care about! I want my student to have agency over their material and my goal as a voice teacher is to help guide them vocally and find what makes them unique as a performer!
