This is a video I’ve been wanting to make for a long time! Bert Berns is such a fascinating character in music history and worth a deep dive into. I did not include the connection to The Four Seasons’ “Sherry” to The Shepherd Sisters’ track, but I think that’s worth mentioning due to proximity of Bob Crewe/Bob Gaudio/Atlantic/Bert Berns.
