Originally released in July 2009! Back in the old shop, shot on tape. The video quality is less than beautiful, but the message is clear! We now have this guitar again, so enjoy this mash up. The journey and progression of this show is evident from this clip... what a great journey it has been!

Hi everyone – I hope that you who celebrate it, had a great Thanksgiving.
Our guitar of the week is a very well-known 1960 Les Paul Standard which we previously offered for sale way back in 2009.
This guitar was purchased in 1979 by Howard Leese who used it as his main guitar for over twenty-five years. Howard was with Heart from 1974 through 1997 as their guitarist, backing vocalist, keyboard player and song arranger. In 1998 Howard joined The Paul Rodgers Band and continues to tour with them and Bad Company. Howard sold this guitar in 2005 to a collector/player in California…

When we acquired the guitar in 2009 we invited Howard to come here to play the guitar and talk about "The Grail" or "The All-Seeing Eye" as he used to refer to it. We made two videos of the guitar, one with Howard and one with Phil X… We named the guitar "Leesa".

We are now once again offering "Leesa" for sale – Dustin has now re-cut the best parts of the two videos into one…

With Bad Company Howard plays Free's 'All Right Now' (first released in May 1970) at every concert…
In our video he actually shows the correct Paul Kossoff way of playing this immortal riff…
'All Right Now' was written by Paul Rodgers and Andy Fraser and was a number one hit in over twenty territories…

Coincidentally – next week on December 10th, Bonhams, the auctioneers of Knightsbridge in London will offer for sale one of Paul Kossoff's Les Paul's (he had three) – a 1959 that he bought in 1970 and used right through to his early death at the age of just 25 in March 1976. This is the guitar that during one performance Kossoff threw the guitar in the air, snapping the neck, which was then repaired…
This incredible piece of Rock n' Roll history is estimated to bring £200,000 - £300,000 ($303,000 - $455,000)
In addition the buyer will have to pay an additional (auctioneers premium) of 25% on the first £50,000
and then 20% on the next £50,001 to £1,000,000 – so this brings the estimate up to £242,500 - £362,500 ($367,000 - $549,000)

Here is our full description of "Leesa" or "The Grail" or "The All-Seeing Eye"

We hope that you enjoy the video
