Very primitive pure Rockabilly from Shelbyville, Texas. William Duncan (1929-2013) was a bluegrass musican from West Virginia. He played guitar in Bill Monroes band The Blue Grass Boys in the 1950s.
Billboard Country & Western review rated the song only 1 star on June 8 1959. But i think its a great and interesting song because of the release date. It was released four years too late, there was no market for hillbilly blues in 1959 when the Billboard Charts was dominated by soft pop-rock.
