According to Bizzy, the battle occurred many years ago in Atlantic City after a $30 bet was put on the line. Bizzy spit first, and after Jay heard his bars, he allegedly forfeited even coming back with a rebuttal verse and just gave Bizzy the $30 right then and there and walked away. Bizzy credited his speedy rapping style, which wasn't as common back then, as being a defining reason why Jay didn't bother spitting after he heard him rap.
