This song is an ode to the moon blood and a journey into the cavern of the womb.

May all womb-bearers remember their blood is sacred. May all humans remember the medicine of the blood. May all those entering the right of passage of their first bleed CELEBRATE & be celebrated as the portals of life they are! It's time to reclaim the menstrual blood as the life-giving nectar it is!

Please subscribe & share this with everyone you know, seeing as we all come from the womb. :) And ESPECIALLY Share this with young girls beginning their moon time so they may learn to celebrate and honor the medicine of the menstrual blood.

Lyrics:
Do you remember how you felt
the first time you bled?
What sensations surged through your system as the sacredness of a womb created now shed?
Did you pause?
to be still, feel, and listen?
Or did you have no guide
That led you to the Ruby of your own body’s wisdom?
You’re not alone
in being caught up in the head
not knowing how to let the body rest
SLOW DOWN
Breathe Big
Let those emotions digest and revel in the pleasure of your own caresssss.
~~~
3 Months before I turned 16 I had my first bleed
Warm, red liquid
dripping down my thighs
me, a girl unaware of my moon power on the rise. Heavy with shame
shaking imploding wanting to hide
i tried ~~~~~
but I was hurting on the inside.
I’m 24
and only recently have come to realize the beauty my mother bore
on the late night that I was born
I was an egg
in the egg
of my Grandmother’s womb
and now I am human here to bloom.
~~
I have come to reclaim the power of the bleed To re-sanction respect in the deep red sea
I have come to moan move howl and scream Relaxing my yoni with each breath I breathe The shake of my hips will set my ancestors free from the burning trees
I feel them burn in me.
No system structure guru or authority can tell me how to breathe
don’t show me where to bleed
my Sacred Red Sea
or silence my scream
this is MY wise body
and SHE has the sovereignty
to write her own creed.
A dream of the free
WOMB DEEP.
Echoing the wise cycles of the trees
Whispering the wishes of my Grandmother’s deeds
Exchanging all reliance on titles and degrees for innate belief in our intuitive abilities.
I was an egg
in the egg
of my Grandmother’s womb
and now I am human here to bloom.
~~
I’m 24
& if I could call to myself Through time’s locked door I would sing~~
Anna, sweet Anna
put your two hands over your womb...
Bend in the knees
Bare feet in the dirt crouch down low
& feel the Earth
Trust in the color of your bright red blood & feed it to the soil That nourishes us.
It’s okaaaay
To feel alone, ashamed, and scared––
all you got to do is give yourself care. Hold out your hands
Wait a few years
I’ll meet you there. I’ll meet you there baby
I’ll meet you there~~~
I was an egg in the egg
of my Grandmother’s womb
& now I am human here to bloom.
Two hands on your womb Feet in the dirt
I’ll meet you there.
I’ll meet you there, baby I’ll meet you
I’ll meet you
I’ll meet you there.
