Important notice form our guest today, Ian McWee of Diamond Bottlenecks:
"The one question that was raised regarding the lead content in our hand-blown crystal glass 'Ultimate's - it has been mentioned before, usually by the American customers - is a good one! The answer is there's 24% lead to molten glass mixture in the slides, but it's not raw 'red lead' which can be irritating on the skin. The 24% lead is added to the molten glass in the furnace ~ it's infused inside the solid glass wall so wouldn't touch naked skin - the tubes are all 100% safe to health....."
Thanks for the clarification Ian!!
