“That’s the Way Love Goes” - Bobby Hicks w/ The Tennessee Bluegrass Band
Last night we were totally honored and humbled when International Bluegrass Music Association Hall of Fame member, Bobby Hicks joined us for our show. Bobby is 90 years young now and has accomplished so much, being a bluegrass boy with Bill Monroe for many years, playing stints in Las Vegas, with Ricky Skaggs, and winning 10 Grammy Awards just to name a few. It was such a treat for us to get to make music with him last night. Here’s a clip of Bobby singing a favorite country classic of ours, “That’s the Way Love Goes.” He received a standing ovation at the end of his performance of this song last night. His singing and playing blew us in the band, and everyone in the audience away, as it always does! No one can pull a bow or play a double stop like Hicks. He is THE MAN!
