Boogie Blues Vamp Lesson ????

Boogie Blues Vamp Lesson from the high seas of the Blues Cruises some where near Honduras! Here we learn this really fun and addictive shuffle style Blues Vamp that can be used for a one chord vamp or over a Blues song with chord changes as well. This vamp and variations (some included here) make up the fundamental building blocks of rhythmic influenced shuffle style harmonica blues. Getting solid chunky style rhythms like this vamp internalized into your playing will help your awarness of where the down beat is, what bar your on, your sense of swing and a general grounding and betterment of your timing overall. This is also an excellent way to accompany yourself and learn to work in your licks and improve all by yourselves on the porch on one chord or more. Im using an "A" harmonica here and playing in the key of "E" major (Cross Harp/2nd Position). The Harmonica here is a " Hohner Jason Ricci Signature Harmonica Crossover" by Tom Halchak of Blue Moon Harmonicas.
