My name is Ian Lee, Central Texas Based Jazz and Western Swing guitarist, violinist, singer, composer, and educator. I created this channel to inspire and aid you on your journey of learning how to play the beautiful music we call Jazz. My channel will cover many subjects, from chords and harmony, music theory, single-note lines, philosophy, contemplation, and much more.
I tend to focus on the teachings of Barry Harris because I find them so flexible and beautiful.

Although I am teaching via the mediums that are the guitar and violin, you can apply these lessons to any instrument.
