Back in July, punk rock wunderkind Bryan Kessler released his ‚New York, Baby EP‘ on Get Physical. Now that the days are a little shorter and things have gotten a bit darker, October sees the release of the New York Baby, remixes.

Reworked by no less than the legendary DJ Hell and NIBC, ‚New York, Baby EP (Remixes)‘, gets the old-school treatment by way of a dark, gritty makeover that leaves it fit for a dank basement party somewhere in uptown NYC.

While DJ Hell deliver not one, but two equally grinding and hypnotic versions of Dr. Kessler (Powerhouse and Simplicissmus), NIBC strips away all of New York, Baby's percussive spice to replace it with more serious, anodyne rhythms. Slow-moving, hard-hitting and with enough of an industrial twist to give it bona fide street cred, we have a feeling the 'New York, Baby EP', might make a cameo appearance on more than one Halloween dance floor.
