Thanks to Katie McClaughry I had the possibility to play the natural trumpet made by William Bull (1650-1712) at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford.
The Instrument is currently not in perfect playing condition (resistance or airleak, compared to a copy I played at Graham Nicholsons house). Never the less it was an unforgetable experience to play a original silver Instrument with it's original mouthpiece that trumpeters in England would have used to perform the Music by Henry Purcell and Georg Friedrich Handel on.
