The Morrigan is part of Irish mythology. She often appears as a crow, the badb, and is associated with war, fate, and especially with foretelling doom, death, or victory in battle.
I think the music fits the concept quite well. I still like to put in some folkish elements even when the theme of the song is more epic and the scope more ambitious.
