CHESNOKOV "Salvation is Created" (for Trumpet Ensemble)

Some music has a kind of mystical power, and this piece by Pavel Chesnokov is one such work. Originally composed for mixed choir in 1912, this is a setting of the music for just cornets and flugels (or trumpets and cornets or trumpets and flugels). The arrangement effectively divides the eight players into two choirs of four—one more brilliant and one darker.
