http://www.vladtv.com - VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes managed to capture this very entertaining interview with Chilla Jones after the epic Smack/URL NOME 4 battle event concluded.
Chilla spoke on the battles featured on the card and how he's "itching to get back in the ring." While the event was an overall success, Chilla believes that the Cortez vs. T-Rex battle wasn't conducted properly due to the fact that they agreed to battle with short 2-minute timed rounds. A lot of people were upset with Smack for timing the battle, but in reality he was only upholding his end of the agreement made prior to the battle.
Chilla felt the most classic battle on the card was Goodz vs. Aye Verb, and while he predicted Aye Verb to win the battle, he felt that Goodz edged him when he saw it live. He also discussed B-Magic's unfortunate 2nd and 3rd round chokes vs. Big T, and how he believes Big T isn't the same battler that he used to be. Even with the chokes, Chilla still edged the victory in B-Magic's favor.
Midway through the interview, the always entertaining Quiet Room creator, QueenzFlip, jumped in and chopped it up with Chilla. Chilla told him that he wants to battle both Born and Prez Mafia in a 2-on-1 battle in the Quiet Room, and that unless he's battling Lux, Chilla believes that his pen game will be like "Jesus" if he battles in QueenzFlip's Quiet Room.
Would you like to see Chilla spit bars in the Quiet Room in the near future?
