Welcome to this MONSTER "Pentatonic" Cigar Box Guitar Lesson video. We are tuned GDG. The strings are the A D and G strings from a normal acoustic guitar string package. This lick happens on the high and middle strings and uses the notes from the pentatonic scale exclusively. The lick uses open strings, hammer on's and pull off's. I divide the entire lick into two halves, an assending line and a descending line. Each half is again subdivided into four ( 8 note ) groupings. There is a grease board diagram of the scale being used in this video. Be sure to pause the video and study the drawing. Good luck and ENJOY :-)
