Clearwater Jazz Holiday's Young Lions Program is a one-of-a-kind instructional experience for students with group clinics, master class sessions, jam sessions, and performance opportunities involving university jazz educators and local jazz professionals. The Program occurs at a main event as well as in schools throughout the year.

The Program helps students and band directors elevate their skills and make meaningful connections. In addition to honoring a rich cultural heritage, developing as a jazz musician fosters creativity and improvisation, builds versatility, improves listening and collaboration skills, teaches discipline and technical proficiency, encourages personal expression, and opens doors to mentoring and networking.

In 2020, CJH also launched a virtual adaptation, engaging its family of musicians and special guests to offer instrument lessons for beginners of all ages or those interested in getting reacquainted with their instrument as well as Master Class Sessions designed for more intermediate/advanced players and professionals.
