I did not create this video. This is from animemusicvideos.org (Link to video here: https://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=22265)

Credit goes to Dark4554 for creating this video.

The song is Our Lady Peace- If You Believe

The footage is from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

From the video information page:
Now that I have the room, I've begun uploading all my old videos.

Failing Strength was a video I had to really push through (ironic, no?); I wanted it to be perfect. It was constantly going off on strange tangents, because I had only really had a few ideas going in, and let the video create itself. In the end there was 3 different final cuts. I wanted the timing and mood to be paticularly important, as I wasn't REALLY following any paticular story, something I want to strive for more often. I think it pulls this off, and the flow is nice, although I do find it's a bit dry, and doesn't have the re-watchability that I was hoping for.

Once again, I use Our Lady Peace. (3 out of 5 of my vids do) Even though I don't enjoy the band as much as I used to, it's still at the top of the list when it comes to making AMV's because the lyrics are always so easy to match to, They have a good sound, and clear speech, which is important when you're trying to say something.

Evangelion is clearly over used when it comes to me (again, my vids arn't all up yet), but I wanted to do an EoE (End of Evangelion) video that wasn't JUST drama.

The theme in this video is that even after overcoming your obsticals, life has an underlying futility. We see this with Misato, Asuka, and Shinji in this video. While the lyrics make promise of a new world within one's strength, I played the fact that the new world may not be what you want. I was uh... slightly depressed when I did this video. The ending is more opening ended, so you can draw your own conclusions.
