Today’s rockabilly guitar lesson looks at Cliff Gallup’s guitar technique and style on Peg O’My Heart by Gene Vincent. It’s actually an old jazz standard that these guys bought to a contemporary 50s slow rock’n’roll number and it’s really cool! There’s heaps of jazzy ideas including chromatics and chord tones. I was sure to have my Gretsch duo jet with me this time!
