I learned "Mother's Advice" (Hold Fast to the Right) from a 1960s recording of Dock Boggs. He learned it from Lee Hunsucker, a Methodist preacher, around 1930.

My instrument is an 1888 Thompson & Odell _The_ _Luscomb_ banjo tuned eBEG♯B (A = 432 Hz).
