Crying Waiting Hoping was requested by Kev. It's one of the last songs Buddy Holly recorded as part of his DIY Apartment tapes sessions. Shortly after he died, the tapes were overdubbed and released as singles. This one was the B side to Peggy Sue Got Married.

This solo is an essential one for learning your major triad shapes on the top 3 strings and was much admired by George Harrison who faithfully transcribed it for the Beatles live set.
